GCV&M Fat Ox and Intrepid Ale Return to CB's Taproom for a Limited Time!

Two of CB's most popular private label beers, brewed exclusively for their friends at the Genesee Country Village and Museum, return to CB's Taproom Wednesday 5/22 at 4pm!

The recipes for these traditional brews were created using notes passed down by American brewers from the early 1800's. Availability is limited. Try them before the kegs are kicked!

GCV&M FAT OX ALE

They call it "Fat Ox" for a reason! This robust colonial brown ale is named after the museum's Ox. Toasted malts provide a pronounced toasted flavor and rich full body. ABV: 5.0%

GCV&M INTREPID ALE

This light golden ale is brewed with 2-row barley and wheat with a touch of Cara Pils, for a little body. Real lemon juice, a crate of chopped lemons and real grated fresh ginger is added in the brew kettle for a nice snappy finish. ABV: 4.0%

Where Can I Get It?

You can enjoy Fat Ox and Intrepid Ale by the pint, or fill up a growler to-go exclusively at the Depot Restaurant at the Genesee Country Village and Museum and at CB's Taproom while supply lasts.
