"I think this would be a good time for a beer." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
On April 7th 1933 President Franklin D. Roosevelt's signature repealed the Volstead Act, legalizing 3.2 percent beer. Upon signing the legislation, Roosevelt made his famous remark, "I think this would be a good time for a beer."
